Island Slipper World Tour

I wore my Island Slippers on a beautiful walk in the forests of Japan. As I started the walk just before sunrise in the pouring rain my slippers were the perfect footware, they love being wet and walking thru leaves, mud, and mountain streams. As I climbed on a flat rock and put my slippers, which I just rinsed clean of mud and leaves in a waterfall pool, on the rock next to me, the heat of the sun dried my slippers in a few minutes. The sun warmed the early morning air, the birds were singing, the flowers were opening to greet the sun and the gentle breeze moved the leaves on the trees. I put on my warmed by the sun slippers and continue my walk up the mountain, feeling as one with the universe!!

I wore my Island Slippers on a day in Thailand which started with clear skies but as late afternoon arrived the very heavy rain poured down into the night. I had my rain jacket and hat and was wearing shorts. THe temp was 90°F. So the water was warm! The streets very soon had a couple of inches of standing water on them and all the people were taking off their shoes and lifting up their clothes trying to get out of the rain, I just smiled and walked thru the warm rising water now up to my knees and my feet were safe and sound walking in my Island Slippers. I felt very happy and enjoyed the torrential downpour because I was wearing the hat and jacket which kept me dry from head to knee and my feet were protected and comfortable in my ISland Slippers.

I wore my Island Slippers many times at water's edge, i.e. streams, rivers, lakes, oceans. They are the perfect footware solution because in a short walk stretches of fine sand, sharp rocks, broken glass, pointed sticks, barbed branches and leaves will be encountered. So on foot friendly terrain I just walk barefeet, but as soon as I come upon any terrain that will cut my feet, I just slip on my slippers. I am able to connect barefoot to earth and in a second protect my feet as I continue to explore the edges of the waters of the earth. I always enjoy my walks at waters edge.

Thank you very much  for the pair of your world class slippers that you gave to me when I brought you the pair of your slippers that I wore on a trip around the world. As per your request please find enclosed a couple of memories of that trip and the part your Island Slippers played in making those memories enjoyable.

I am now wearing my new pair of Island Slippers every day and they also are world class just like the previous pair!! The legacy continues!! Keep up the good work and know that you are making the best slipper in Hawaii and from personal experience I know your slipper is a world class footware solution for anyone anywhere who walks on this earth.

As I mentioned during our recent visit I will retire Jan. 1st 2015, at some point a few weeks before then I will call you for an appointment and bring you my current pair of slippers with seven years of wear + or -.

We will be able to see how your 2007 model wears thru seven years of daily wear. (I predict very well!) Then I will buy a new pair for my 2015 retirement tour of the world which will include visits to over a hundred countries and will be ongoing as long as I'm having fun and my health allows. I will be 67 in Jan 2015 and I hope to travel until 2038 when I will be 90. At 90 I will go to wherever my favorite place on earth is and hopefully leave the material world and return to spirit during a good nites sleep.

From my earliest memory as a child up to and including this day I have always enjoyed walking anywhere on this earth and from the day i first put on a pair of your slippers up to and including this day they have been and are now my footware of choice!!!

I thank you very much for your great product!!! I appreciate more than words can express the quality of life, i.e. walking on this earth comfortably, that I have been able to experience with your Island slippers.

They will be on my feet everyday and greatly appreciated on each and every one of those days. Thank you very much!!
