Kokua Japan

In response to the devastating earthquake and tsunami on March 11

There are many ways that the people of Hawai`i share a connection with the people of Japan. Japanese culture and traditions are a big part of what makes Hawai`i lifestyle special and unique.

We are deeply saddened by the tragedy and hardship our Japan family and friends are currently facing as a result of the March 11th earthquake and tsunami.

We at Island Slipper would like to kokua (help) which is why from April 1 through April 15 we will donate a portion of all sales at www.islandslipper.com to the Hawaii State Chapter of the American Red Cross.

We suggest that the best way to help is to donate directly to the relief organization of your choice. If you choose to purchase our product online we will make a donation for each pair you purchase. In addition, orders to US zip codes will receive free shipping.

Sincerely,

John Carpenter
